Byron Jónsson is a loud and proud queer trans tattoo and visual artist working in Ottawa and across Canada since January 2017. They are the owner of In Bloom Tattoo Collective in downtown Ottawa, Canada which they opened to the public in January 2023.

 

Known for their brightly-coloured neotraditional tattooing, their specialties are precise and detailed linework, bold colour, and freehand work. Byron also specializes in the covering of scarring of all kinds including surgery, self harm, and accident. Cover-ups are another central focus of Byron's service.

 

Byron prides themself on their warm bedside manner and is an excellent choice for clients getting their first or hundredth tattoo. They are proud to make their service fiercely feminist, body positive, and queer positive. All bodies, all skin tones welcomed.
